A carbon steel frame enhances power to the edge!

Power Chassis

The Power Chassis is a carbon steel frame that is integrated into the sole of the boot, extending completely from the toe to the heel including the binding interfaces. The result is a complete integration of the boot to the binding, which allows a direct transfer of power to the ski. The Power Chassis offers more torsional rigidity resulting in more power and efficiency with each turn.

NOTE: The Chassis can be removed for easier skiing characteristics in variable conditions. Lifters can be added for sole canting.

Bottom line: with the addition of the Power Chassis, the skier will have added quickness, power and efficiency in each turn.

Finally! A low volume, performance shell that is easy to get on and off!

Quick Instep

The Quick Instep System found in the 98mm Inferno Series and the 100mm new Demon Series, as well as the new Side Country Free Mountain boots offers those seeking a low volume performance shell, the opportunity to experience the performance without suffering the pain of entry and exit. A softer piece of plastic is co-molded in the instep area allowing the foot to slide in and out with ease!

Power Lock Strap

Performance closure for the performance skier!

Power Lock Strap

The Power Lock Strap is a performance enhancing feature that offers increased closing power and acts like a 5th buckle. The lock has to be pulled up to release so it will not loosen due to gate impact.

How to care for your Fur Boots

The best way to clean a fur boot is to brush it through clean fresh snow and let the snow crystals clean your boot. If there is grease on the furs, use corn meal. Rub it on the spot, let it dry, then brush. Do not wash or submerge in water. The natural oils of the furs need to be preserved. If there is mud on the fur, allow the mud to dry, and brush with a firm bristle brush. Leather boots are treated, usually waxed, to help keep them clean and water resistant.

How to care for your Leather Boots

To care properly for your boots, you first have to keep the boots clean. Brushing off dirt and mud from the uppers and soles will greatly increase the life of your boots. Mud that is left to dry on a boot will also dry the leather and stitching of the boot. After an extended or hard trip, it is best to clean your boots with warm water and a nylon brush. Don’t forget to remove the laces from the boot when cleaning, and to remove dirt from the gusset. After cleaning, the boots should be left to dry naturally at room temperature. Trying to speed up this process with any form of heat will affect the leather and glues that bond the sole to the boot. Do not use heat at any time on boots. Make sure you remove insoles after every use allowing them to air dry.
